What is a Money Manager Prepaid Visa® Card?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is a prepaid Visa card that enables you to participate in electronic payroll. Your wages are deposited directly onto the card each pay period for immediate and easy access. The Money Manager Card is a Visa branded card that can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card can be used to shop, get cash, transfer money, and pay bills.
What are the benefits of using the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is a powerful financial instrument providing access to free ATM withdrawals on the Allpoint network and free bank withdraws at banks where Visa cards are accepted. In comparison to receiving a paper check, the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card provides a tremendous value to you.
Who is eligible for a Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card?
All employees are eligible for the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card and all employees are approved to join the program – no bank account or credit check is required.

How do I get a card?
Ask your supervisor, Human Resources, or Payroll department for an Enrollment Form. Upon completion return the Enrollment Form so that a card can be ordered for you. Once ordered it takes approximately 7-10 business days for cards to arrive. Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is set to the last four digits of your social security number. When you receive the card you will need to activate the card and verify the last four digits of your social security number. You will then be prompted to change your PIN after verification.
Do I have an online account?
Yes, using your card number and PIN, you can access your free online account at www.MoneyManagerCard.com.
How can I check my account balance?
You have three FREE options for checking your balance: Online at www.MoneyManagerCard.com; over the phone by calling the toll-free number on the back of your card; at any Allpoint ATM. Please Note: Balance inquiries at non-Allpoint ATMs incur a minimum charge of $0.50 per inquiry.
How do I access my pay on the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card?
You have many ways to access your money. The Money Manager Card can be used for purchases and cash back at millions of locations nationwide that accept Visa debit cards. The Money Manager Card can also be used to get cash FREE from all Allpoint ATMs. The Allpoint Network is the largest free network of ATMs in the United States with over 37,000 machines nationwide.
How can I find an Allpoint ATM?
To locate an Allpoint ATM, go to www.MoneyManagerCard.com click on the Allpoint logo and enter your zip code or address. The site will give you a list of the closest ATMs.
What if I use an ATM that is not on the Allpoint Network?
If you use an ATM that is not on the Allpoint Network, you will be charged a fee of $2.75 for that transaction plus any fees the ATM owner charges. You should become familiar with Allpoint Network ATMs in your area to avoid these fees.
Are there fees to use the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card?
No monthly fee. There is no minimum balance. No cost to use the card in stores, online, or over the phone. ATM cash withdraws on the Allpoint Network are FREE. Cash back at retail stores are FREE. PIN purchases are FREE. However, if you use the Bill Payment service, there is a $0.50 charge for each bill processed.
Can I transfer money from my card to a bank account?
Yes, you can move money from your Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card to any bank account in the United States for FREE. Just log on to your online account through www.MoneyManagerCard.com and choose the “Card to Account Transfer” option. Please Note: Before you start this process, you MUST know your routing and account number of the bank to which you wish to transfer your money.
Can I make payments for bills with the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card?
Yes, the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card offers an online bill payment service that you can use to send physical checks or electronic payments for bill payment. The service costs $0.50 per payment, a little more than a stamp, and the funds are withdrawn from your account the day the payment is made. You can access the bill payment service from www.MoneyManagerCard.com.
How can I get ALL of my money off of the card?
You can present your Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card to a teller at any bank where Visa cards are accepted and request the total amount of the funds on the card. You will need valid photo identification (Drivers License, Identity Card, etc.) along with the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card to do this. There is no charge for this service.
How can I find a Bank where Visa cards are accepted?
Visa does not publish a list of banks. However, there are over 13,000 bank where Visa cards are accepted in the United States - just look for the Visa logo. To be certain, you can also ask the teller or the bank manager if they accept Visa debit cards.
Can I withdraw cash from any Bank ATM where Visa cards are accepted?
Yes, but if these ATMs are not on the Allpoint Network then these transactions will not be free and you will be charged a fee of $2.75 plus any fees the ATM owner charges for that transaction. If I withdraw all of my money, what happens to the card?
If you have a zero balance, then the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card cannot be used for additional purchases until funds are deposited during the next payroll cycle. You MUST keep this card so future wages can be deposited directly onto it for immediate, easy, and free access.
What happens if my Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is lost, stolen, or damaged?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is valuable and, although the card and funds are insured against unauthorized use, the card should be kept in a safe place and the PIN should never be given to another person. In the event your Money Manager Card is lost or stolen, IMMEDIATELY make a report to Cardholder Services at the toll-free number on the back of your card. A representative will be able to assist with a Money Manager Card replacement and account concerns. Note: MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS THAT WE HAVE IS UPDATED WITH YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS BEFORE YOU HAVE A CARD MAILED TO YOU.
How do I order a replacement card?
Replacement Mony Manager Cards can be ordered by calling Cardholder Services at the toll-free number on the back of your card. It is imperative that you keep your personal information (your address) up to date with your employer and with Cardholder Services to ensure you receive replacement Money Manager Cards in a timely manner. Replacement Money Manager Cards will be mailed via regular mail free of charge and should be received within 7-10 business days from date of order. If you wish to have the card within 72 hours, expedited shipping is available for an additional charge of $10.00, to cover the cost of handling and shipping. The expedited shipping fee is automatically deducted from your account.
How secure is the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card? Is there a possibility of identity theft?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is backed by Visa’s Zero Liability policy, which guarantees maximum protection against fraud. You have complete liability protection for all of your Money Manager Card transactions that take place on the Visa system. So, should someone steal your card number, you pay nothing for the fraudulent activity.
The Zero Liability policy covers all Visa debit card transactions processed over the Visa network—online or off. The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card has the same security and protection as any other Visa debit card.
Can I add money to my card, other than payroll deposits?
Yes, you can use the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card to receive financial payments from another entity offering electronic funds transfer (government Social Services, tax reimbursement, disability insurance, etc.)
Can my Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card be overdrawn?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is designed to prevent overdrafts and merchants posting charges in real-time will reject any purchases that exceed your account balance. You cannot overdraw your prepaid debit card. Normally you can only use the funds you have on your prepaid debit card. If your purchase or cash withdrawal is more than the balance in your account, the transaction will be declined.
How does the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card differ from a credit card?
The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card can only be used when there are funds available on the card. You cannot use the card if your balance is zero or less than the purchase/withdrawal amount requested.
How does the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card help me manage my money?
First, a record of your spending is available from your online account for up to 12 months. Knowing what you spend your money on helps you to understand where your money is going and can help you develop a budget to spend less.
Second, the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card has a Bill Pay feature that lets you send checks from your account to pay bills for only $0.50 a payment (not much more than a postage stamp). This allows for timely payments and helps with budgeting.
Third, the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card allows free transfers from the card to any bank in the United States. This makes moving money from one account to another simple and easy. And finally, many banks will let you overdraw funds but will charge you up to $35.00 per incident. The Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is designed to reject a transaction if you do not have enough money in your account to cover it. However, it the unlikely event that you go into overdraft, you will be charged $10.00 per incident.
When should I use the debit option for purchases (using your PIN)?
If you want to get cash back from your purchase the only way to do this is through a debit purchase. Please Note: Not all retailers offer cash back even if they accept debit (PIN) transactions.
Should I select Credit or Debit when I use my card for purchases?
Even though the Money Manager Prepaid Visa Card is not a credit card, you can use the card at retail stores as a “credit” transaction by selecting credit. This allows you to sign for your purchases instead of using your PIN as with a debit transaction. Please Note: Some stores want you to select debit and will offer this option first and force you to cancel out of using debit. The reason for this is debit transactions cost them less money.
Is there an advantage to using credit (signing for the purchase) versus debit (using your PIN)?
Using the credit option (signing for your purchase) qualifies you for Purchase Security protection provided by Visa.
What is Purchase Security protection?
Within the first ninety (90) days of the date of purchase, Purchase Security will replace, repair, or reimburse you for eligible items of personal property purchased entirely with your eligible Visa card up to a maximum of $500 per claim, in the event of theft, damage due to fire, vandalism, accidentally discharged water, or certain weather conditions.
What other languages are the program materials and customer service available in?
The Money Manager Card offers collateral and Cardholder Services (including online account access) in English and Spanish.

The Money Manager Card is issued by West Suburban Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. West Suburban Bank is located in Chicago.
